Providence picks up their fourth consecutive victory and they are coming at the right time. Providence jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. The Friars led 46-27 at halftime and will now head to the championship game. After this victory it is becoming very clear Providence will earn a berth to the NCAA Tournament regardless of the result tomorrow. Providence will be going for there first Big East Championship since 1994, which was also their only one.
