The Friars boost their record to 21-10 overall and help their odds of making the NCAA tournament with a victory over the Temple Owls. Providence trailed by five with 2 minutes to go, but fueled by Bryce Cotton's 18 points Providence faces Marquette in the semi finals. Marquette who is now ranked 12th in the country has been the most dominant team in the Big East all year, but dropped their only meeting with the Friars 73-58 at home on January 3rd.
