Josh Fortune may have only scored five points off the bench, but they could not have come at a better time. With the score 54-50 in favor of Providence the Freshman guard hit a three and long jumper on back to back possessions with 3:30 remaining to extend the Providence lead to 9 where they never looked back. Providence continues to play very solid basketball, but Boston College certainly didn't play like a 7-8 (1-2) ball club. Providence now sits tied atop the Big East with rival UConn at 3-0. Providence's next is home against South Florida 8-8 (1-2).
