Providence, RI -
When you fall behind by 14 points early in the first half it truly is a battle to come back and win. Providence College fell behind 26-12 and slowly chipped away at the lead until they eventually tied it at 40. It was an ugly basketball game which saw both teams shoot under 40%. Seton Hall struggled against the press and turned the ball over 15 times which led to the Friar victory. Seton Hall had an opportunity to win the game, but missed a 16 footer from the baseline with eight seconds to go. Providence then iced the game with free throws by Kadeem Batts and Brice Cotton. Providence will now head back on the road to face a Temple team in their first year of the Big East.
