Philadelphia, PA -
For the second consecutive game the Providence Friars fail to shoot above 40% from the field and this time it leads to a tough loss. The Friars were limited to 21 second half points and this led to a tough 62-59 loss to an underachieving Temple ball club. Providence was especially hurt by 5-21 shooting from behind the arc and must find a way to get Kadeem Batts and their big men involved in the game. "Obviously I am disappointed, but we need to shake it off and move forward," Cooley said of the loss. Providence has a few days off before they travel to Memphis to face the 10-8 (2-4) Tigers.
