The Friars also struggled from the field shooting 34% and 28% from 3 point range. Florida on the other hand shot 55% and 46% from three. "They outworked us, out shot us, and simply out coached us." Cooley said after the game. For the Friars it was a heart breaking loss coming so close to the Final Four, but on the other hand this season can be viewed for success. Providence College finishes the year 26-11 and will certainly be looking for more success next year with the arrival of their newest recruits and transfer candidates.
