Milwaukee, WI -

Led by Bryce Kofane's double double of 17 points and 11 board, the Friars improve to 11-2 (1-0) on the year. The game had a slow pace in the first half and stood at a 30-30 standstill at halftime. The Friars however pushed forward and used a 12-2 run to start the second half and never looked back. Providence was able to get solid production out of almost every player. Everyone who played beside Goldsborough had at least one point and assist. Marquette struggled from three point range the entire game and also turned the ball over 11 times in the second half alone leading to an easy victory for the Friars. The streak of ten wins for Providence is the longest since the 2003-2004 campaign, the last time Providence danced in March. Next up for the Friars is a trip to DePaul in Chicago.
