Providence, RI -

It has been a long week for Coach Cooley and the Providence Friars, but Cooley has made it clear he will continue to look towards the future of the program. Not only is Coach Cooley working on securing recruits for next years class he is planning the teams schedule. The Friars who are already committed to the Paradise Jam in the US Virgin Islands added a few more games to the slate. The SEC v. Big East Challenge has designated Florida to the Providence Friars where Billy Donovan will face his alma mater. Providence College and Ed Cooley have also extended their games with Brown, Rhode Island, and Fairfield. The Friars are also in the process of scheduling a neutral site game against a Big Ten opponent in New York City. Here is a preliminary look at the Providence College non-conference schedule in 2013-14.

Paradise Jam* US Virgin Islands (3 games)
@ Rhode Island
