Providence, RI

Once again a slow start for the Friars, but once again they escape the victor. The Friars fell behind by five at the half, but were able to outscore the Raiders by 16 in the second half to secure yet another victory and improve to 8-2. Providence was led by a stellar performance from Bryce Cotton who scored 19 points, including 4-9 from behind the arc. Providence was also helped along with the efforts of Vincent Council who had 12 assists and 7 points. After the game we caught up with Coach Cooley. "We were able to limit our turnovers tonight, which was good, but we still need to improve on both sides of the ball. I would like us to do a better good in transition and make better use of our speed." Providence is now off until after Christmas and will wait until December 28th to face off against Northeastern.
